For those who enjoy antiques, our New Glazing Option is just the thing!

This special finish option replicates the natural age and wear of an antique that may be 100 years old. Glazing is an extra process that is done while the furniture is being finished. Hand-rubbing the glaze over the furniture brings out the natural texture of the wood, along with carvings and crevices, which hold the darker colored glaze while it is rubbed off the higher points. This process creates the lines of contrast shown in the pictures.
Shown in Natural Cherry and Umber Glaze
Much attention is given to the details to replicate the natural wear of each piece of furniture. We even simulate the natural build-up of dust and dirt in crevices of the journey. Glazed furniture is always finished with a flat sheen. This is an integral part of creating the authentic antique look.

THIS FINISHING PROCESS CAN BE APPLIED TO ALL THE FURNITURE IN THE KEYSTONE COLLECTION.
